The press service of the Baltic Customs notifies of the strengthening control of the validity of form “A” certificates of origin. A form “A” certificate confirms the eligibility for tariff preferences for goods imported from certain countries.
The innovation is related to frequent attempts of illegal import of goods covered by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated August 6, 2014 № 560.
According to the requirements, when filling a form “A” certificate of origin, field 11 of the document must contain full details of the certificate date and place, a seal of the authority certifying the origin of goods, a signature of the person authorized to validate the document.
