Since the 1st of July it became known about new changes and amendments to the declaration of goods. This intention of FCS is caused by the increasing control over adjustment of the information provided in the declaration. This is the opinion of the TRANSLOGIX representative who gave an interview to the portal “Logirus”.
“Entry into force of the Decision of the Board of ECE No. 289 dated December 10, 2013 has changed the procedure for making changes and amendments to the declaration of goods. In order to verify the customs cost index in the customs declaration it is necessary to fill a special form of correction of the declaration of goods beginning with the 1st of July which is an integral part of the declaration of goods”, – explains the expert.
Now the form consists of the main sheet and additional sheets. Each of them can be changed and amended over no more than three products.
We would like to note that such a decision was made by the Russian Federation simultaneously with Kazakhstan and Belarus. However there is some difference in texts of documents of three countries.
According to the expert of the company TRANSLOGIX in case of submission of the declaration in electronic form the customs declaration correction (KDT) is also submitted in the electronic form. Whereas the customs also has a right to send the rejection by e-mail.
One should recall that during the declaration correction after release of goods the customs is given a right to request necessary documents on paper. However, if there are no so many changes, the declarant has a right to cross out the incorrect information three times and to sign the right one by hand on top in printed letters. But such document needs to be certified.
