MEETING OF THE WORKING GROUP OF THE BALTIC CUSTOMS

On 20th October 2015, a meeting of the Baltic Customs’ Working Group on interaction with business community and public authorities was held in the conference hall of the Baltic Customs. TRANSLOGIX Director General Artur Yamalov took part in the meeting.

The meeting discussed questions such as: pre-trial appeal of decisions, actions (omissions) by customs authorities and their officials in the field of customs activity, advantages of declaring the customs procedure of customs transit in the electronic form, typical errors in completing fields 22 “Currency and Total Invoice Value”, 24 “Type of Transaction”, and 44 “Additional Information / Documents Submitted” of the goods declaration, preliminary goods declaring, the procedure of decision-making by customs authorities on seizure (non-seizure) of goods acting as physical evidence within the scope of administrative court proceedings, and the problem issues of implementing “additional marking” of goods.

The meeting participants could elaborate the ways of further interaction on the above-listed issues in the dialog mode.
