Hydrocracking reactor – equipment for oil refining – went through customs clearance in the port of St. Petersburg in August, 29. Its weight is 1378 tons. Such operation was carried out in St. Petersburg for the first time. Transit clearance in the port was performed by TRANSLOGIX.
There are only about ten barges in Russia which could carry cargoes of bulk weight.
The cargo of such dimensions and tonnage cannot be transported by road vehicles. It will be sent to the oil-refinery in Nizhnekamsk by rivers and lakes. The transportation will be monitored by specialists across the route. Thus, transshipment in the port and transportation is a direct candidate to get into the Guinness Book of world records.
