Russia bans import of some Belorussian cheese

March 24, 2017 Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosslekhoznadzor) has frozen the Declarations of Compliance for 5 brands of Belorussian cheese. The products don’t comply with the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union.

Under the ban have fallen the cheese brands “Raubichi” and “Tilsiter” manufactured by the branch of Rogachev Milk Canning Plant; “Belorussian Gold” and “Alpic” of Ohmyany Cheese-Making Plant and “Groitser green” (Glubokoye Dairy Canning Factory branch in Braslaw).

As a reminder, since February of the current year Rosselkhoznadzor has restricted import of the products of four meat processing plants of the republic because of the veterinary legislation gross violations.
