Russia has imposed an entry ban on Turkish marrow and pumpkin

Rosselkhoznadzor informs that on May 19, 2016 Russia imposes a temporary entry ban on Turkish marrow and pumpkin. According to the agency, this ban occurs due to systematic quarantine objects detection in the production. It should be pointed out that Rosselkhoznadzor has already announced possible entry restrictions for all Turkish fruit and vegetables.

It’s worth remarking that since the beginning of the year similar measures have been taken with regard to pepper, lettuce, eggplant, pomegranate, lemon, grapefruit and other similar production of Turkish origin.
