Temporary restrictions on poultry imported from Germany

On January 27, 2017 the Federal Service for Veterinarian and Vegetation Phytosanitary Surveillance has introduced temporary restrictions on live poultry and eggs imported to Russia from another region of Germany. Since the beginning of the year, restrictions on the import caused by avian influenza have been introduced in four regions of Germany.

Simultaneously, temporary restrictions are being introduced on live poultry transit through the Russian Federation from some regions of the country. When supplying live poultry and hatching eggs from Germany to the Russian Federation, appropriate veterinary certificates must be accompanied by a supplement signed and stamped by a veterinarian.
