TIMESCALES ON CUSTOMS CLEARANCE OF YACHTS, BOATS DURING TEMPORARY IMPORTATION
The registration of temporary importation usually takes 1 business day.
In our experience, in the case of the arrival of the yacht by 15:00 pm, in the evening all the formalities will be completed.
The TL GROUP is open on weekends and holidays. Unfortunately, not all customs authorities do the same. Therefore, we ask you to plan the time of arrival of vessels to the border of the Russian Federation in order to have time to complete all customs formalities before the onset of weekends and official holidays.
CHARACTERISTICS OF YACHTS TEMPORARY IMPORTATION
Be sure to obtain the Conclusion of the Chamber of Commerce (you can do it yourself or with the involvement of a customs broker)
No import customs duties and taxes. Only the filing fee is paid.
Inspection is required for comparison of the information stated in the documents with the fact.
At the end of the temporary importation period, a re-export declaration is submitted. You can also entrust this procedure to us, since we will already have all the necessary information from the moment of registration of import of goods into the country.
HOW TO EXPORT A YACHT FROM RUSSIA
If a yacht is used longer than the allowed period, it is necessary to issue an extension of the temporary importation. This is a separate procedure in which the customs authorities are also involved. For renewal, it is necessary to re-submit to the customs a set of documents and pay fees.
In order to export the sea transport imported for temporary use, a set of documents for the “re-export” procedure is submitted to the customs authority (a declaration is submitted and examination is carried out for identification).
Contacting the “procedures department” is not required.
