Since 10 August 2019, the “Rosselkhoznadzor” imposed a temporary restriction to import fresh apples, pears, quinces, apricots, cherries and sweet cherries, peaches (including nectarines), plums and thorns from China into Russia. (The restriction applies to stone and pome fruit crops of commodity headings 0808 and 0809 of the Commodity Nomenclature for Foreign Economic Activities of the Eurasian Economic Union)
 The Federal Agency for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (“Rosselkhoznadzor”) made this decision due to multiple identified cases of quarantine products import from China
IMPORTANT!The ban applies not only to consignments imported for legal entities, but also to import similar products in hand baggage and luggage by individuals.
