The national holiday “St. Petersburg Sabantuy 2024” took place

On June 29, traditionally in the Vsevolozhsk district of the Leningrad region, near the village of Enkolovo, the national holiday “St. Petersburg Sabantuy” was held.

Sabantuy is an annual folk festival of the end of spring field work among the Tatars and Bashkirs. These are always big celebrations where you can show off your talent, strength and dexterity. In ancient times, Sabantuy was held before sowing, then it began to be celebrated after it was completed. Nowadays, it is celebrated in the first half of June – it has become an event marking the beginning of summer.

Thousands of people gather for a traditional folk festival, uniting people of all ages, professions, nations and religions living in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region. This is a holiday of unity, friendship and mutual understanding. It has become dear to all St. Petersburg and Leningrad residents, preserving its national flavor, being a holiday without borders, friendship of generations, confessions, peoples.

As part of Sabantuy, a gala reception was held on behalf of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Tatar National-Cultural Autonomy of St. Petersburg, which was attended by representatives of the business community and executive authorities of both regions. TL GROUP was represented at the event by the general director of the company, Artur Vilyevich Yamalov.
