On September 14, at the Business Center for Economic Development of the Countries of Independent States under the CIS Executive Committee, a meeting of heads of foreign trade associations that are part of the International Union of Business Associations (UIBA) in the field of foreign trade was held. The event was attended by heads of business communities from seven IBA member countries: Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, as well as heads of associations from Iran and Turkey.

The general director of TL GROUP and member of the Board of the Guild of Foreign Trade Participants “Hermes” Artur Vilyevich Yamalov also took part in the event.

Since the creation of the MSBA in October 2022, members have been actively assisting each other in the development of foreign trade, assisting in the selection of partners in customs clearance, logistics and certification. Professional training and knowledge exchange on customs regulations and customs administration practices are carried out within the MSBA.

During the meeting, agreements on cooperation were signed between associations of the Turkish Republic, the Association of Customs Brokers of Azerbaijan, the Hermes Guild and an agreement on opening a branch of the National Alliance of Business Associations of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation.

Representatives of the business community shared information about the current state of economic cooperation, programs implemented by the CIS Business Center, as well as prospects for the development of trade turnover and partnerships with the SCO and BRICS countries.

The meeting of customs brokerage associations of the CIS countries was an important step in the development of economic cooperation and strengthening partnerships between countries.
